Laurie Tigner Workshop Review
Our first International Quilt Teacher Workshops were held at Worcestershire Wildlife Trust Conference Centre at the end of November 2017. We had four fabulous days of teaching by Laurie Tigner, Handi Quilter Ambassador.
It all began with two days of Feathers - the first for Beginners and the second for Intermediate/ Advanced. These classes have laid some great foundation for students who attended.

Ooohh..Jayne doesn't look so convinced by that radical feather manoeuvre, Brenda.
A gorgeous, creative space. We are so lucky to have this close to our showroom.

Day 3 - Round Robin Quilt Design. Loved this class.
We got some seriously good designs from the combination of many heads. Draw part of the design and then pass it on.
Now it's time to take that Round Robin Quilt Design and put it into practice. Just a shame that Lynda didn't hear that it then had to be multiplied (or reduced in size) to make it scale to a quilt design. Sorry Lynda.
But Lynda was up for the challenge...
Ahh...that creative space!
Lis quilting her Round Robin Design
Carole taking on the challenge.
Rachel quilting away.
Lynda concentrating hard on the reduced scale design!
Pete pretending that he had done some quilting...
Derek was actually quilting! Good job Derek!

Inktense Class with their Inktense pieces. Lots of techniques learnt in a short space of time. Don't be surprised if you suddenly see lots of Inktense pencils being used in quilts!!
